First Impressions

Café

The café team provides full service in preparing and selling an assortment of pastries and hot foods as well as a variety of specialty coffee, tea, smoothies, bottled, and fountain drinks. A great social environment! Training is provided.

Greeters

Team members lead people into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ by welcoming those who attend Victory's services.

Information Center/Media & Events Team

Information Center Team Members provide information regarding opportunities to serve, outreaches, special events, and lost and found articles. Media & Events Team sells service CDs and takes care of registration for upcoming events, classes, and seminars.

Medical Response Team

This team includes volunteer doctors, RNs, or EMTs who will assist in the event of a medical emergency during service times. They will give the best First Aid possible under the circumstances and will contact 911 if needed.

Security Team

Security Team members provide the safety and security of the church members, staff, and campus grounds to facilitate the focus on God's message.

Traffic Team

This vital ministry greets all who enter our campus and supervises traffic flow so that vehicles can enter and exit the parking lot safely.

Usher Team

Ushers serve in many capacities including collecting offerings, assisting with altar calls, serving communion, directing ministry lines, and serving the Body of Victory in special and regular services.

Helps Ministries

Bookstore

The Living Word Bookstore supports the teaching of Victory in a retail setting. Team members are customer-service oriented and serve through tasks such as running the cash register and helping customers select Bibles, books, and gifts. Retail experience is helpful, but not required.

Check-In Ministry Team

Check-In Ministry Team includes friendly, energetic individuals who enjoy working on computers and love helping people. Responsibilities include starting up our various check-in kiosks and providing user assistance while monitoring the kiosks before service. Training is provided.

Children's Ministry

Children's Ministry from nursery through grade 6 is available during all services and extended meetings. Opportunities for service include puppet ministry, costume characters, check-in attendants, classroom teachers and assistants, sound and lighting, and small tasks at the church. Event Photography

Team members take pictures of new members, special events, and services. Camera provided if necessary. Experience preferred.

Financial Coaches

Lay persons experienced in the financial field meet with and assist those struggling with their finances. Financial Coaches may also facilitate finance-related Connection Group classes.

Girlfriends Women's Ministry

Ladies 18 and older serve at women's events. Visit the Girlfriends Ministry page.

Healing Team

The Healing Team equips believers to minister healing to those who are physically ill. Healing Team Members minister to individuals one-on-one and make hospital visitations. Participation in this ministry requires an intensive training program and is required for anyone interested in becoming a prayer partner.

Hospital Visitation Team

This ministry's purpose is to extend the love, comfort, and compassion of Jesus Christ to those who are recovering from illness or medical treatment. Our dedicated volunteers bring encouragement, prayers of faith, and the healing touch of Christ to those who are hospitalized.

Media Duplication

Members of this ministry team prepare copies of messages for sale after each service, as well as for monthly mailings and special orders. Team members are also needed during regular office hours.

Prayer Partners

Prayer Partners share God's Word in order to build a foundation for faith so the born again have assurance, those who need restoration can make a fresh start, those seeking the baptism of the Holy Spirit can be filled, those who are sick can experience the healing power of God, and those with other needs can pray with a fellow believer.

Office Team Members

This essential ministry enables the church to be a good steward of our resources. No technical skills are needed for tasks including: duplicating, laminating, bulk mailing, making phone calls, CD duplicating, organizing, filing, and running errands. The office is open from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. Training is provided if needed.

Special Events Team

Special Events Team Members assist in setup and teardown before and after Victory's special events. Heavy lifting may be required. Men preferred.

Spiritual Personal Trainers

Spiritual Personal Trainers is a mentoring program developed to help new Christians understand what took place at the new birth and how to begin to live their new lives in Christ. SPTs meet with participants and establish a solid, biblical foundation. They also meet with new members to identify spiritual growth needs and provide information about serving opportunities. Extensive training is required.

The Journey Men's Ministry

Men 18 and older serve at men's events. Visit the Journey page.

Worship Team

This team includes vocalists and instrumentalists who usher people into the presence of God in our adult services through anointed praise and worship. Auditions are required. Visit the Worship page.

Outreach Ministries

Care Ministry

Team members provide meals or part of a meal, as needed, to families of Victory in times of birth, illness, or a hospital stay. On a rotational basis; would only be asked to prepare for people in your area. Visit the Pastoral Care page.

Marriage Resources

Members of this ministry team provide coaching, teaching, and guidance to pre-married and newlywed couples, married couples with "good" relationships desiring enrichment, and couples seeking to rebuild or restore marriage relationships. Visit the Marriage Resources page.

Nursing Home Ministry

This outreach ministers to the elderly through song, testimony, and sharing of the Word and love of God to those in local nursing homes.

SALT 55+ (Senior Adults Living Triumphantly)

This group ministers to individuals ages 55 and older through planned activities and Bible studies. Meetings are held on the third Tuesday of each month from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Victory. Looking for volunteers in order for this ministry to continue.

Victory Group (Addiction Recovery)

This outreach ministers in many ways to families & individuals in the community dealing with issues of addiction. Meetings are held every Tuesday from 7 to 8 p.m. Visit victorygrouponline.com.

Production Team

Audio/Visual

The Audio/Visual ministry presents and coordinates media such as lyrics for songs, announcements, DVDs, and videos during each service.

Camera Operators

Individuals are trained to use video equipment to shoot scheduled services, extra events such as water baptisms, and Victory advertisements to promote Victory's purpose.

Sound Ministry

Technicians serve the ministry and people of Victory by operating the sound system for all types of services. Training is provided.
