God gives us the privilege of partnering with Him to reach people. The Bible teaches that we worship the Lord with our tithe and that the purpose of tithing is to put the Lord first in our lives. (Deuteronomy 14:22)
Your contribution supports the daily work of the church. Whether you bring your tithe or give an offering, your contribution will be the greatest return on investment—changed lives. Thanks to the generosity of our congregation, the work of the Lord continues to expand; many people enter into a relationship with Christ, and their lives are forever changed.
God desires that we excel in the grace of giving. God gives to you so He can give through you. Everything you have is a gift from God (1 Chronicles 29:14). As you give, the world is changed for the glory of God: the Gospel is preached, lives are touched, people are fed, bodies are healed, churches are built, and you, in turn, are blessed by God so that you can give again.
Online giving allows the convenience and security of electronic, tax-deductible giving for a specific dollar amount to be automatically deducted from a checking or savings account. You can set this up as a one-time or recurring gift.
Why Give Online?
- When you register to give online, you are deciding in advance to faithfully give.
- You simplify your life by not having to remember to send in an offering when you are away on a trip or miss the church service.
- You will be advancing God's Kingdom. Giving literally impacts the lives of thousands of people around the world through our missions and outreach ministries.
- You will be building the church by helping our cash flow to remain consistent from month to month.
But since you excel in everything—in faith, in speech, in knowledge, in complete earnestness and in the love we have kindled in you—see that you also excel in this grace of giving. (2 Corinthians 8:7)
We want to avoid criticism of the way we administer this liberal gift. For we are taking pains to do what is right, not only in the eyes of the Lord but also in the eyes of men. (2 Corinthians 8:20-21)
Victory is committed to honoring God's provision by exercising wise and faithful stewardship, ethical practices, and full accountability to ensure that the financial integrity of Victory Family Church remains above reproach. We accomplish this through a system of internal controls and an internal budgeting and reporting process. In addition, an annual audit is performed by an independent certified public accounting firm. Victory is a member of the Evangelical Council for Financial Accountability (ECFA).
ECFA is an accreditation agency that is dedicated to helping Christian ministries uphold high standards for responsible stewardship.
Benefits of an Online Account:
- Have one account for contributions and class registrations.
- Set up recurring gifts.
- Keep track of the classes you have registered for and the contributions you have made.
- Register for a class or make a contribution from anywhere that you can connect to the internet, including most mobile devices.
If you already have an account, click Login and enter your user name and password on the left (Image 1). If you do not have an account, enter your name, email, and phone number on the right and click "Create my Account."
Click "Give" on the right to go to the giving screen (Image 2). Set the Church/Organization to Victory Family Church. Choose your giving designation (tithe, building fund, benevolance, etc.) Enter your gift amount. Choose your giving frequency. This can be a one-time gift or a recurring gift. The weekly options are every week or every other week on any day of the week. The monthly options are the 1st, 5th, 10th, 15th, 20th, or 25th day of the month. On either recurring gift options, you must enter the end date of the gift, which can be no more than 5 years from the date you create the recurring gift, per financial regulations.
After adding a gift to your cart, you will be taken to a summary screen (Image 3). From this screen, you can either click the "Add Another Donation" button, or continue with your gift by clicking the "Next" button. The "Add Another Donation" feature allows you set up multiple gifts. For example, you might want to have an every other week gift for both your tithe and building fund pledge. To accomplish this, you would set up one gift for your tithe and add another gift for your building fund pledge. Likewise, if you wanted to have your gift occur on the 1st and 15th days of the month, you would set up one gift for the 1st and add another for the 15th. You also have the option to give some gifts monthly, others weekly, and at the same time make a one-time gift (see Image 7).
If you add multiple gifts, each gift will be listed in the transaction summary (Image 4). Click the "Next" button to continue. Please note that with a recurring gift, you are not actually giving at this time, so the balance will show as zero. Check each individal item for the amount that will be given on the date listed.
Enter your addresss and billing information (Image 5). If you are already logged in, your name and address will prepopulate. If you are not logged in, you can click "Login" on the right to do so at this time. When your billing information is complete, click "Complete Transaction."
Cancel or Make Changes
If you need to make a change to the amount, date, or frequency of your recurring gift, or change the credit card or checking account, you will need to cancel the existing recurring gift and create a new one. To view your current recurring gifts, click "My Giving" in the links to the right. At the top of the screen, under "My Recurring Gifts," each recurring gift will be listed with an option to cancel (Image 6). Click the "Cancel" button to go the confirmation screen (Image 7). Click "Cancel this Recurring Gift."

- In order for your donation to be tax-deductible for 2016, all checks or cash have to be postmarked no later than 12/31/16.
- For early access to your 2016 statements, you can log into or create a My Victory account where you can see all of your giving.
- Paper statements will be sent by February, 2017.

- Text your donation amount to phone number: 724.209.1152.
- The first time you text, you'll receive a link to register. Complete this one-time registration.
- Save this phone number for future giving.
Next time you're ready to give, simply text the amount to the same number (724.209.1152). You will receive a confirmation each time you give through the Text to Give service. If you want to give directly to the FullFilled Capital Campaign, add Full after the amount.
If you ever need to change your credit card information, text "reset" to the number. Click here for more detailed instructions.
Your donation will go to your credit card, not your phone bill. Use your Visa, MasterCard, Discover, or American Express debit or credit card.
