    Title of Position: College Director

    Purpose of position: To oversee and develop Victory's College Ministry and to support the Student Ministry Department.

    Responsible for:

    Vision, Mission, and Purpose

    • Develop College Ministry to align with the vision, mission, and purpose of Victory (who we are), and how we connect with people as a church (what we do)
    • Reproduce the heart of the Senior Pastor within the College Ministry
    • Actively integrate the Staff & Leadership Covenant into personal leadership and overall functions of College Ministry

    Services (Weekend & 1st Wednesday)

    • Primary oversight, planning, and execution of weekend services (includes preparation, service order, and auditorium management)
    • Assist with 1st Wednesday services

    Growth Track

    • Support and recruit people to this process for all areas

    Small Groups

    • Develop small groups and a culture of small groups within the College Ministry

    Dream Team

    • Be an active recruiter for Student Ministry and encourage people to go through Growth Track
    • Provide representation during Dream Team 401
    • Cultivate and oversee Dream Team service and production areas (lights, sound, and media)
    • Commit to creating a leadership pipeline from High School, College, to Main Church

    Training & Development

    • Assist in leading core ministry training
    • Create a focused and small group-driven approach to calendar planning
    • Develop connections and relationships with key audiences
    • Oversee design/graphics, communication planning, and social media usage; collaborate with internal teams to produce quality materials consistent with our brand

    Continuing responsibilities:

    Vision, Mission, and Purpose

    • Submit routine communication reports on the status of the College Ministry (form to be provided)
    • Demonstrate alignment to mission, vision, and purpose, as well as the Staff & Leadership Covenant in all strategic planning
    • Begin meetings regularly with a commitment from the Staff & Leadership Covenant

    Services (Weekend & 1st Wednesday)

    • Prepare service order for each weekend and 1st Wednesday service
    • Prepare announcements for each service experience
    • Teach the foundational principles of faith consistently
    • Teach and demonstrate the work and ministry of the Holy Spirit as an integral part of this ministry
    • Stage auditorium for all services
    • Develop a speaking schedule of relevant outside speakers (in consultation with Student Ministry Pastor)

    Growth Track

    • Intentionally encourage and recruit college students to go through this process and get connected, especially with the College Ministry

    Small Groups

    • Advance small group participation through relevant and strategically planned social events
    • Implement LIFE Groups and other small groups on Slippery Rock University, Grove City College, and Geneva College

    Dream Team

    • Cultivate, develop, and oversee team leaders and team members in all areas (from support teams to worship and production) for weekend and 1st Wednesday services, paying particular attention to developing a vibrant and relevant music ministry
    • Develop opportunities for students to serve alongside Dream Team members, building momentum for when they are able to be a part of this team

    Training & Development

    • Mentor young leaders who are processing a call to ministry
    • Assist with the Student Internship Program
    • Monitor the “pulse” of the College Ministry in intentional ways, including the engagement of relevant research projects
    • Complete all internal and external College Ministry communication each month
    • Build healthy, open communication with College Students
    • Develop an assimilation plan, as 19north is not a church within a church
    • Other duties as assigned

    Other Personal Responsibilities:

    • Be a good steward with the resources God has provided to Victory (Matthew 25:21)
    • Perform duties and responsibilities in a manner to glorify Christ and further the mission and ministry purposes of Victory Family Church.
    • Serve at management level, which demonstrates a high degree of loyalty to the senior pastor and ministry staff.
    • Adhere to church approved guidelines as set forth in Victory's by-laws and Policies and Procedures Manual.
    • Maintain a vital and growing personal walk with the Lord through committed Bible study, prayer, and meditation.
    • Born again, spirit-filled, willing to work through others and build a strong volunteer base, willing to embrace the doctrine, vision, and ministry of Victory Family Church.

    Approximate time required:
    Tuesday through Friday from 8 a.m. – 4:30 p.m., Weeknight hours for campus small groups, activities, etc., Saturday from 5:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. 40 hours/week, ½ hour lunch (unpaid)

  • Nursery and Preschool Director

    Title of Position: Nursery and Preschool Director

    Purpose of position: To assist the Children’s Director by providing oversight as outlined below for the Nursery and Preschool Department within Blast, the Children’s Ministry of Victory Family Church.

    Responsible for:

    • Supervision, continued development and on-going training, recruitment, and leadership of the ministries listed above
    • Maintain a master calendar for Infant through 6-year-olds with date/time specific plans/goals and training programs
    • Oversight of Infant through 6-year-old rooms during all weekend, First Wednesday, and special services
    • Develop Master Teacher teams in the Infant through 6-year-old rooms
    • Develop Master Teacher Training program in the Infant through 6-year-old rooms
    • Develop Room Coordinators in the Infant through 6-year-old rooms
    • Develop curriculum for Infant through 6-year olds
    • Develop Classroom Trainers for the Infant through 6-year-old rooms
    • Assist Children’s Director in maintaining current Master Planning Arrow with goals and objectives for Children’s Ministry
    • Provide leadership for specified short-term projects as determined and directed by the Children’s Director
    • Continue to grow spiritually and develop in leadership skills and abilities
    • Assist with Children’s Ministry events
    • Attend all required staff prayer and teachings, staff meetings, and events
    • Assist with other duties, as assigned and/or directed
